Meta call: the FG42 has taken over long range

The FG42 is the long-range gun now. It landed this season and went straight to the top of the pick rates, ahead of the MK35 ISR and the MXR-17.

Half the tier lists you'll read still say otherwise. The ones built from pro-streamer loadouts are a week or two behind — they track what the streamers have swapped to, not what's actually winning fights. The raw pick-rate data has already moved.

Close range isn't a debate. The CBRS-3 is the SMG. Run it with the FG42 and you're on the pairing the numbers favour.
