Recruitment
Think you can
hang with us?
Not in the clan yet? This is where you start. We recruit on attitude first, aim second — drop your details and a shot-caller will run a tryout scrim with you inside a week.
Rather talk first? The Discord is open — say hi in #recruitment.
Already in #1TAP?
This form isn't for you — it goes to recruitment. To get your card on the Squad page, or to change the one you have, message a squad lead on Discord.

Recruitment FAQ
- How do I join #1TAP?
- Fill in the clan application on this page — gamertag, Activision ID, region, and a line about how you play. A shot-caller runs a tryout scrim with you inside a week. If you'd rather talk first, our Discord is open: say hi in #recruitment.
- Do I need a minimum K/D to join?
- No. We ask for your lifetime K/D on the form so we can put you in the right scrim, not because there's a cut-off. We recruit on attitude first, aim second — a player who calls rotations and stays calm in a finals circle is worth more to us than a stat line.
- Is #1TAP a South African clan?
- At the core, yes — our home lobbies are African. But we recruit from every region we play in: EU, NA East, NA West, OCE, SA, MEA and Asia. If you can make the scrim times, region isn't a barrier.
- What happens after I apply?
- A shot-caller gets in touch on Discord, or by email if that's the only contact you left us, and sets up a tryout scrim. It's a normal squad night rather than a test — we're looking at how you play with four other people, not at your aim in isolation.
- What does #1TAP play?
- Competitive Call of Duty: Warzone — weekly scrims, squad nights most evenings, and the high-kill lobbies most squads avoid. Our current loadouts and weapon tier list are both in the Armory.
