Season 05 Deploys: New Weapons & Verdansk Changes

Season 05 is now live, bringing fresh content to Warzone with new weapons, gameplay events, and an updated point of interest in Verdansk. The biggest battlefield addition is Drone Labs, a new POI that introduces fresh loot routes and creates new hotspots for early-game engagements.

The upcoming Machine of War event begins on 30 July. Completing event challenges will unlock the Mammoth LMG, along with exclusive weapon camos, a new reticle, and additional cosmetic rewards.

Early impressions suggest that the current weapon balance is encouraging a wider variety of loadouts. While the community is still settling on a definitive meta, squads with strong positioning and coordinated rotations continue to outperform teams relying solely on aggressive pushes.
